Data privacy

What information is public, what stays private and how OpenAttention handles contact and account data.

01

Public profile data

Creator public profiles may show display name, handle, bio, country, niche tags, logo or avatar and social handles.

Private account fields such as password hashes, raw authentication data and unpublished contact details should not be exposed through public profile APIs.

02

Contact information

Contact information is separated from the public profile. Brand or agency accounts may reveal contact details through the intended workflow.

Creators should only provide email and WhatsApp details they are comfortable using for brand outreach.

03

Operational data

OpenAttention stores data needed for authentication, onboarding, marketplace browsing, jobs, messages, payments and reviews.

The product should avoid collecting information that is not needed for the creator marketplace workflow.

04

Access and deletion

If you need to update, export or delete account data, use the verified email tied to the account so the team can confirm ownership.

Deletion requests may preserve limited records where payment, security or legal retention is required.
